FIFA announced the classification of teams participating in men’s football at the Paris 2024 Olympics, with Morocco ranked second.
The announcement came ahead of the draw scheduled in the French capital Paris on Wednesday, March 20.
Morocco is scheduled to play a friendly match with Ukraine on Friday (March 22nd) and Wales on Tuesday (March 26th) in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The men’s football competition will be held at the Paris 2024 Olympics from July 24 to August 10.
Africa participated in the Paris 2024 Olympics with three and a half seats, where teams (Egypt, Morocco, Mali) qualified, while Guinea competes for the last seat through the continental play-offs.
The ranking system is based on the total number of points earned in the last five editions of the men’s Olympic football competition since 2004.
