Libyan National Meteorological Center forecasted heavy rains in most areas of northwestern Libya.
The Center said in its newsletter, regarding the prevailing and expected weather situation starting from Saturday, 12/09/2023, and during the next two days, that there will be “heavy rain falling in most areas of northwestern Libya, and it is sometimes very heavy in some areas, especially from (Tripoli to Al–Khoms – Tarhuna – some areas of the Western Mountain), accompanied by thunderclouds, causing some local valleys to flood and water to collect in low places, with active to strong winds sometimes reaching speeds of (60) km/h, so please be careful.” .
It is expected, according to what was reported by the Libyan Meteorological Center, that the weather will stabilize from Monday in the northwestern regions and gradually from Tuesday in the rest of the regions.
