The Libyan government has announced plans to build three new (FIFA) international football stadiums in Sirte, Ajdabiya and Sabha.
This initiative comes as part of the National Development Authority’s strategy to enhance sports infrastructure and provide modern facilities for playing high-level football.
The National Authority for Development said on its official Facebook page that these three stadiums “are part of the NDA’s investment plans in the field of sports”.
The Authority invited international technical companies specialized in the construction of FIFA-approved football stadiums to submit their proposals to participate in the implementation of these projects.
This initiative is an important step towards the advancement of Libyan sports and the provision of a suitable environment for the development of sports talent in the country.
The June 11 Stadium in Tripoli, one of Libya’s largest, opened in March after undergoing more than two years of expansion and maintenance.
