The Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development of the Government of National Unity, in partnership with Libya Post, announced the issuance of a unique set of commemorative stamps.
This edition came within the framework of the celebrations of World Heritage Day (April 18), where the stamp collection highlights Libyan archaeological sites.
Libyan Minister of Culture Mabrouka Toghi delivered a speech during the stamp announcement ceremony, in which she praised the efforts of the postal company in supporting cultural initiatives that reflect the richness and diversity of Libyan heritage.
Toghi stressed that these stamps represent a bridge to introduce Libyan heritage at the international level and enhance its historical and cultural value.
The collection includes 16 stamps that embody the various Libyan cultural sites and elements inscribed on the list of heritage in the Islamic world.
