Moroccan fine art played a pivotal role in Exhibition of Traditional Crafts and Moroccan Culture, hosted by Kenya, a number pf paintings by Chenaai Aomar, entitled “Culture of Popular Moroccan Alleys.”
Moroccan artist’s paintings won the admiration of exhibition’s visitors, especially in terms of colors, consistency and the way they highlight the subject, thus providing a charming glimpse into the culture of Moroccan popular neighborhoods.
Moroccan artist Chenaai Aomar said, in a statement to Hespress website, that the paintings highlight an important Moroccan heritage in our alleys, with their narrowness and attractive aesthetics, which are not complete without the human element, which in turn gives life to them. He added, “Fine art is an important and powerful element.” In our Moroccan culture, we cannot talk about heritage without paintings, and our presence today in the exhibition in Kenya, officially completes the series of ancient Moroccan culture that extends for centuries.”
According to Chenaai Aomar, participation in the exhibition with different artists is considered a “beehive” that highlights Moroccan culture and identity. The paintings provide comfort to the exhibition’s visitors. He considered himself an ambassador of his country’s culture, Morocco, and an essential element for depicting life. Chenaai said: “When tourists come to our country, they always go to our popular alleys, because there they feel our culture strongly, and they admire it.” With distinctive architecture they will not be able to find anywhere else in the world.”
