Clashes broke out between fans of the Turkish and Georgian national teams before their match in the finals of the European Football Championship (Euro 2024), held in Germany, which ended with Turkey winning 3-1.

The clashes took place at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund before the opening match of Group Six (F).

Fans threw water bottles and other materials at each other, and some of them held hands in the dividing area in the stands.

The clashes continued for several minutes before the police intervened, broke up the gatherings, and returned the fans to their places in the stands.

The group witnessed a second match that took place on Tuesday, which ended with Portugal defeating the Czech Republic with a score of 0-2 at the “Red Bull Arena” in Leipzig.
