Al-Ahly Benghazi succeeded in winning the Libyan football derby by defeating Al-Nasr with a clean goal, in the sixth round of the second leg of the Premier League.
Suhaib bin Suleiman scored the winning goal for Ahli Benghazi in the seventh minute, giving his team three golden points through this victory.
Al-Ahly Benghazi raised its score to 30 points, while Al-Nasr’s balance remained frozen at 34 points, maintaining its lead in Group A.
Al-Ittihad Club leads the list of the most crowned teams in the Libyan league since its establishment in 1963, with 18 titles, and comes behind Al-Ahly Tripoli with 13 titles, followed by Al-Ahly Benghazi with 4 titles, and Al-Madina and Al-Tahadi with 3 titles each, and Al-Nasr and Al-Mahalla clubs achieved the title on two occasions each, while Al-Dhahra, Al-Shatt and Al-Olympic were crowned with one championship.
