British presenter Amanda Keller was attacked by a bird during the broadcast of her live radio show, resulting in injury and bleeding from her hand.
The incident occurred during the morning broadcast of Keller’s “Jonesy and Amanda” with Brendan Jones on WSFM Radio.
The incident began when Keller tried to feed the bird, which the team brought to the studio as part of a special segment, where the bird suddenly tapped her hand, causing a small wound and causing bleeding.
Keller showed high professionalism and continued to present the program, and despite wearing a pink coat and protective gloves, this did not prevent the bird from reaching her hand.
Keller commented humorously on the injury: “Look at this, thank you, what a horrible injury.” The radio explained that the bird is named Craig, a species of parrot ” Lorikeet Rainbow”, aged 19 years, and stays with the team as a special guest of the week.
